My practice is focused on civil appeals, lawsuits and post-trial motions. I started my appellate practice in 2007, having five years of experience in litigation in cases related to such issues as fraud, unfair competition, trade secrets, trademark infringement, and other wrongdoing in business. As my current position shows, an appeal is “a different matter” than a trial. My current practice is focused on accurate analysis, strategic planning, convincing legal writing, and clear oral defense backed up by rigorous research. Thus, the skills that the appellate advocate applies in a case can be applied to any significant area, even one that the appellate advocate has never worked in before.
